This was because we asked for more to be done than was on the original plan and ignored advice always to make sure we knew what we were letting ourselves in for before asking the builders: Can you just . . . ?” The answer, of course, was always “Yes we can” in the true spirit of Obama whose inauguration year it was.
Yes they could, and yes they did, and no we weren’t as disciplined as we should have been about costing. But in the end it was a fantastic, professional job and everybody who sees it loves it. Here, then, are the pictures:
